Post traumatic stress disorder symptoms also known as PTSD usually present themselves within the first three months of a person encountering an extremely stressful or traumatic event however in rare cases this condition can lay in wait not showing itself for several years after such an event. There are three basic types of symptoms commonly associated with post traumatic stress disorder.
